The primary focus of the environment is residential; however, it also extends to encompass hotel and event design. Through this experience, I've gained valuable insights into the operational aspects of this industry. I've come to appreciate the significance of effective communication with various stakeholders, including contractors, architects, representatives, and other individuals engaged in the process.
Within my role, I provide support to the senior designer by contributing to the creation of floor plans utilizing software applications like AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino. Additionally, a substantial portion of my responsibilities involves managing budgets and utilizing Google Sheets to source necessary items. I've actively collaborated with senior team members to develop comprehensive design presentations, subsequently delivered to clients.
Moreover, I've taken part in numerous installation projects spanning across Upstate New York, The Hamptons, and Manhattan. In parallel, I've undertaken responsibilities such as order tracking, overseeing lead times, and maintaining regular communication with representatives from our affiliated trade partnerships.
I've engaged in collaborative endeavors involving acquaintances who placed their trust in me to enhance their spaces. In 2020, I played a pivotal role in conceptualizing and finalizing details for an outdoor kitchen project in San Diego, California. Subsequently, in 2022, I contributed to the redesign of a kitchen in San Felipe, Mexico, encompassing layout adjustments and choices regarding color schemes and finishes.
These personal ventures have provided me with profound insights into the significance of harmonious collaboration between clients and vendors. This collaboration proves particularly crucial when deliberating over elements like appliances, finishes, and colors.
